Hello.

Running windows xp and using microsoft word 2000.

My problem is the top of screen where the icons are like,
normal font,Times New Roman, left-center-right, B I U, etc.
are missing. Can anyone help me get this back?

Right click the top bar, then click to show standard and formating.
Open a new document and Hey presto I think.

Sorry but it didn't work.
Thanks for your help and feedback.

What I did to resolve this matter was,
restore this to a earlier date.
Kept restoring a little at a time to an earlier
date worked for me. Wasn't sure when it happened so I did the
restore about 5 or 6 times, finally I got the right date.
