Hey guys! :D

I installed MSN Toolbar a while back and I think it's great.

But now it's gone from my browser. It's still installed but it just doesn't show on the browser anymore, and all the pop-ups are coming back.

Here's the log from Hijack This.

Thanks! <_<

Have you tried clicking View on your IE toolbar, and ensuring that MSN Toolbar is checked?

check all your toolbars at the top of internet exploer and move them a little bit, alot of time what happens is that the toolbar is placed near another one and squeezed together so you dont recognize it

What about those two BHO??

<_< That's your MSN toolbar.

Maybe try uninstalling it through add/remove programs, and reinstalling it again.

Hey!

I've done that too... I've done everything that I could find on the MSN Help about MSN Toolbar. I uninstalled it and installed it again and still no sign of the toolbar. Weird huh? I even wrote to MSN Support asking for help.

Do you think Spyware Blaster could have anything to do with it? Could Spyware Blaster block the MSN Toolbar?? I have no idea what to do now. All the Pop-Ups are coming back!! <_<

Thanks!

Just a guess, but you could try fixing these entries with Hijack This:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {BDBD1DAD-C946-4A17-ADC1-64B5B4FF55D0} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\MSN APPS\MSN TOOLBAR\01.02.0002.1001\EN-US\MSNTB.DLL
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9394EDE7-C8B5-483E-8773-474BF36AF6E4} - C:\Program Files\MSN Apps\ST\01.02.0002.1001\en-xu\stmain.dll
O3 - Toolbar: MSN - {BDAD1DAD-C946-4A17-ADC1-64B5B4FF55D0} - C:\PROGRAM FILES\MSN APPS\MSN TOOLBAR\01.02.0002.1001\EN-US\MSNTB.DLL

When finished, reboot and reinstall the MSN toolbar.

Do you think Spyware Blaster could have anything to do with it?

That's a very real possibilty, but I haven't heard of it happening before.

All the Pop-Ups are coming back!!

Google also has a great toolbar that prevents pop-ups:
