Hey guys, on my ps3 when I play MW2, its really laggy. Not sure why so hope you guys can help me. I mean, signal strength is between 82-95, which is pretty good. The Channel is 6, and NAT Type is 2. I do have a slow internet with my provider, but I am switching in the next 2 weeks or so, you guys think it could make a difference once I get high speed internet? My router is about 8 feet from my PS3, is that alright or bad?

Also, if I use Wired connection, would it be better?

Any help is appreciated. :)

Bumping your topic 4 times in a day is no way to get help.

If your internet connection is no good, you'll get lag. Wired would be better than wireless.

the slow internet connection is probably the only reason that I can think of..

I used to play Killzone 2 with a slow connection, friggin game kept signing me out of the PSN. so a month later, I got a faster connection, and now it runs perfect.

If the internet is fast enough, it doesnt have to be connected to the ps3 with an ethernet, wireless will work just fine, because I use wireless and I am sure pretty much everyone else who plays online on PSN does too

go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and run a speed test on your internet.
then go to http://www.pingtest.net/ and run a line quality test
