I Just Restarted Windows XP home

Hi I just restarted XP HOME because there was a registry missing and when i go to windows xp home desktop it says found new hardware and its called parralel device what could that be I have never heard of that before Please Help :tazz:

If it gives the option to install software, go with it to see if names the hardware.

Click start then my computer then view system information then hardware then device manager to look for question marks with exclamation marks next to any entries
