Hi there. I installed Windows 7 on my computer and when I start it up after the loading screen goes theres about a 2 minute wait which is just a black screen before the user login part comes up.

Thanks,

sorry you've had to wait partna, most of the techs on this site are kept busy. i'm just another member, but i do have some questions for ya.

what OS did you replace?
what are your system specs?
have you updated drivers and Win7?
do you have any firewall or antivirus that starts with the OS?
are you dual booting?
which Win7 are you running? version and bit please.

if something doesn't jump out at me as being glaringly wrong i'm going to suggest you head to the malware forum cause this could be rootkit symptoms, but i'll give it my best shot before hand.

the very best kind. it was probably a driver that was handled by automatic updates. :)
