keyboard won't work in win 2000 safe mode

Hi hope you can help. In trying to remove malware from my7 computer, I've tried booting into safwe mode to run ETremover, but my keyboard or mouse wont work in Safe mode. This means I cant log on as administator as I would normally do. I have a standard PS2 keyboard and mouse.

Okay, those drivers shouldn't be disabled. Do you have PS/2 mice enabled in the BIOS? Sometimes, strangely enough, it's just Windows detecting it, and they sometimes aern't enabled there.
