Right now im using my laptop to post this forum.

My home desktop computer (running xp)it is wired to the modem using ethernet cable. I have a connection but it just wont display the page

for some reason my computer can pick up a wireless network but wont pick up the ethernet cable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
