I would like to know if anyone has experience with these types of files.

~WFS_TEMP

I have 1321 of these misc. files in the above folder totaling 104 GB

They take up an inordinate amount of space on my harddrive.

I would like to be delete them if they are only temp files, but do not want to mess something up

Are they files created from a secure delete I have done?
I use ace utilities, and BC wipe to delete files--both with a gutmann pass

Welcome to Geeks to Go!, fune

I can't find any reference to a folder with that name, but I can tell you it's not on my Vista SP2 system so it's not part of a Windows Vista installation. Something else has put it there. The safest method is to 'move' it to another location (Your desktop perhaps, where it will easily be seen). Use your PC for a week or so, and if it all runs okay during that period you can safely delete that folder.
