I have never had this type of problem before so I'm not sure just how to fix it.
a family member wanted to download and play a game from BigFish games
The game would start then he would get a black screen and then it would go back to the
desk top. So he asked the forum at bigfish what was going on he was refered to a link on what to do if you are unable to play a game...
Well they had him download RegTool and ever since then NO games will work on my computer! I don't know what RegTool did or didn't do but it really screwed up all of my games... as games I was able to play that morning I can no longer play I ran dxdiag
and here are the results maybe you can see something I missed

Hi pattiepicc :)

A registry cleaner will not increase your system's speed or performance, and has the potential to break your registry to the point that your PC is no longer bootable. We strongly advise that people stay away from any of the registry cleaners out there. Go HERE to get more information about why registry cleaners aren't needed.

Thanks to Sari for the explanation

Now with that said...

Info on RegTool and how to get rid of it

Now lets see if we can fix you up.

Does RegTool have a "undo" button? or "restore to previous settings"?
Have you tried system restore?

To do a System Restore follow these steps:

· Click Start and then to All Programs
· Scroll to Accessories and then System Tools
· Click on System Restore
· A Welcome screen will come up and you need to click on Restore My Computer To A Earlier Date
· Then click on Next
· Now you will see in the window Select A Restore Point. From here select a date a couple of days before the problem started.
· Then click Next
· On the Confirm Restore Point Selection window verify the Restore Point you chose is correct.
· Close all open programs and click Next
· The computer will now automatically shut down and reboot. When it restarts you will see ”Restoration Complete or "Unable to Restore"” page and then click OK
Hopefully you will get a Restore Complete.
· Once you have made sure that everything is now running correctly then please reply back with the results.
