Greetings:

This is my first post here so please forgive me if I seem ignorant or commit a web faux pas.

I would like to know if there is a way to reset the page set-up for new Microsoft Word documents (both for Mac and PC). Whenever I try to open up a new Word Document, it creates a blank document in landscape format. I would like to be able to open up a new document in regular legal format

I am aware that you can simply change this in the page set-up area once you have opened up the document. However, it is frustrating to keep doing that every time I want to create a new document. I was hoping there was a way I could just reset these settings so whenever I create a new document the format is the typical legal format.

My sincere thanks to you who took the time to read this and respond.

The only thing you missed was pressing this point forward and then default.

Keith:

I just wanted to express my most sincere thanks for both your quick response and detailed screen shots which helped me. I am working with both a Mac and PC, so it was difficult to make those changes since the interface is slightly different.

My thanks again, Keith. The first impression of a web-presence is important to me, and I must say I am very impressed. I look forward in using your service again soon and hope others will be equal to your kindness.

My time is up. I thank you for yours

The problem with the screenshots is having the exact version of a programme to get them from.

Thank you for your comments on the site.
