This has somehow altered something with your system,FTER installing Microsoft security essential started to mess around and frequently stopped responding

One crash due to Video Driver and the rest are due to OS.
I will wait for other logs and results before suggesting next steps
First issue is the above. Even though this may have worked in the past please understand as you add programs and your Autoruns increase the amount of available memory for the OS and programs to run will deplete. The normal suggested amount of memory for any system now running XP or newer is 1 gig of total memory. This decision is up to you but i would advise increasing your memory to this.System Memory 512 MB
