I am running xp and have kept it updated but now whenever I close a program and sometimes when I am using IE I keep getting a pop up error message here are a couple of screen shots of them

did these errors start after you installed iolo system mechanic...if so try uninstalling it ...reboot and see if the errors go away

I uninstalled system mechanic pro and the error still shows up

try system restore ...go back a week before the problem started...

I only just restored the system on sunday to its original out of the box state and have only done the microsoft updates since other than the system mechanic I just tried to restore the system with windows system restore and got the exact same result that I have gotten at least 1000 times before it cannot be restored here is the screen shot

I have never been able to restore any computer with system restore
