I have a Logitech Z 2300 2.1 speaker system.

I have no sound in one of the desktop speakers.

I have borrowed a friends Logitech Z 2300 2.1 speaker system and experience the same problem – one of the desktop speakers produces no sound.

I would be most grateful for any assistance you might be able to provide me in addressing this problem.

Cordially

Welcome to Geeks To Go!, geoheid.
You may have the 'balance' slider set to one end of the scale instead of it being in the middle, in your software sound settings. The 'balance' slider sets the volume level differential between left and right speaker. Look in the 'mixer' settings of your SoundBlaster software.
