I am having problems trying to run a finalized MSWMM file. About a quarter of the way through, it starts messing up and then completely hangs. It also does this when I burn it to DVD. I have even shortened the movie with the same results.
Is there another editor (free or not) that is comparable to WMM without the hangups?? And if there is, can I convert my WMM file over to that editor so I don't have to start over? My movie is fairly long and complicated, so starting over is not an option. Thanks guys for any info.

Thanks for the info happyrock, but I really need to be able to play my movie that I already created. I've spent more hours on this movie than I care to recount. It's a Family Reunion movie that I started working on last summer, and the Reunion is coming up again. So you can see why I'm in such a tizzy trying to figure out why I can't get it to play right. But anyways, it looks like I'm just going to have to disappoint a lot of people. It's weird though, because I've made other movies and burnt them to DVD and they played just fine, but now it starts messing up halfway through the process. Oh well, guess this is just one of those things that nobody can figure out. Maybe next year I'll use AVS Video Editor and be able to make a decent DVD then.

Appreciate the response though. G2G rocks!
