Hello Geeks :)
I'm sure this has been asked and answered but looking through the forum I can't find (or missed) the answer. I am replacing a dead drive in a older box and need to reinstall Office XP Pro. I do have my key written down but can't find the original disks. I do have access to a friends disk and was wondering if I could use his install disk with my key??

I read that I can do this with the Xp O/S (Thanx Admin) but not sure about Office XP

Thanx in advance.

Hi Eric001,
There are different product keys for each software copy. However if both the copies are same version and build you can try it and check.

Please reply if your issue is resolved.
