My computer is a Windows XP and recently was infected by a Trojan virus. I've managed to remove the Trojan, but it's caused damage as now all my files will not open. There is an error message saying 'Application not found.' I've tried downloading the fix.reg file, but for whatever reason after I download the file to my desktop and tried to open it it says, 'error import, cannot access the registry.'

I'm not sure if I'm meant to post this here, but any help would be great. Thanks
