So I'm working on getting my A.S. in CIS and my A+ certification from CompTIA... in my research I found this website:

http://www.professormesser.com/

Does anyone know anything about this guy? It seems legitimate. The only reason I ask is because I got the link from a banned GTG member.

Also, if any of the tech gods wish to share their genius with me, I wouldn't mind. :) Thanks all! :)

Certifications are somewhat important, especially if they get your foot in the door of a decent company. Once you're there, you'll learn all kinds of neat things which are not published in books. You'll learn to separate the wheat from the chaff. The best technical minds will learn how to accomplish a given task in new and often more elegant ways.

In my mind experience is the best teacher, though HR departments may beg to differ on this point.
