Windows Office XP problem

I uninstalled Windows Office XP as it was causing weird stuff to happen to my computer when I was asked to update. I never had a disk for it but now It took my Outlook express, can't do anything on any kind of written document and most of the internet systems won't work. Also I tried to do a System restore to the beginning of the month but now It won't let me restore. Help please.
