Ok. I have now narrowed it down to three HDDs

THIS the same spinpoint

and

THIS The WD Black 1TB

and

THIS the 640G WD Black

AAaarrrRrrgh!!

I guess it comes down to customer support now.

Samsung seems to send you a brand new HD when you RMA. WD just gives you a refurb.

Suddenly, the samsung is looking very attractive.

Does anyone here have any experience with the customer support?

I looked at the speed difference between my old one and this one. They are very close.

I guess I'll go ahead and order it
