I'm also getting popup messages saying registry is corrupt go to www.fix-comp.com, registry-doctor.com and a random different website on each message that pops up.. i've done adaware, spybot, deleted temp files, deleted fines in %temp%, but i can't find out how to get SMSSU.exe out of running processes and internet explorer doesnt work gives random stuff about virus warning everytime you open it. I've been using firefox because its pure greatness but these registry popups and thats annoying me... here is my log...

Doubleclick the file and confirm you want to merge it with the registry.

*Click Here to download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Open the text file with these instructions in it, and copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

After the reboot, check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

thanks metallica but i saw that same post in another thread and tried it... it didnt work for me but something as simple as running trojan hunter got rid of it :tazz: now i'm just stuck with the registry error popups in the other thread i posted.
