My USB ports are acting funny after a download of updates and drivers from DELL. I am wanting to uninstall the USB Controllers, I have 19 showing(???) My mouse and keyboard are USB. How can I determine those pieces so as I do not uninstall those devices?
Thanks

Simple answer: you don't.

Uninstall them all and reboot. XP will usually be able to sort things out, though it could take a bit of time after rebooting.
