My Windows XP is freezing up after about 2 hours of operation from bootup. If I have IE open the screen freezes and I cannot close or shut down the system at all. If I leave the system up but idel to long it will also freeze up. I have to do a hard power shut down and then restart the system. Sometimes it the system has a slow response prior to locking up and sometimes it appears to be working normally. I have tried a lot of different tools to solve the problem but no success. I have used PC Tools Desktop Maestro. My security service is McAfee. Any suggestions.
