The most common site I use is info.com. Apparently it requires the adware tracking cookie clickit.gonet to function.

One of my malware removal programs apparently removed it. (I cannot find it in any quarantine logs.) I have sent Email to info.com telling them I am willing to live with this adware cookie, if they can tell me how to restore it; but I have never received a reply.

I use Ewido, PC Safe Adware Filter, SpySweeper, A2 Malware Remover, SpywareBlaster, and SpyBot. I have no idea as to which program did the removal.

So, my question is: How does one restore this removed adware item; and thereafter see that it is not deleted again?

I would advise finding a different site that doesn't place tracking cookies onto your computer. I can't give you any advice on putting it back as we remove items such as this. This is the first time I've seen someone want adware back :tazz:

Sorry!
