Ok i wait about a week for FFXi to come in the post i finally get it today, all excited i pop in the play online disc, the first error i get, Cannot read or locate Data1.cab please make sure you have access to it : ABORT RETRY

now i have tryed everything, manually extracting the data1.cab, it just says files are missing when i try to run play online. and ive tryed restarting my comp everything, THE DATA1.CAB is where its meant to be, its just this faggish installer doesnt want me to play ffxi, i swear god is against me. NOW in the attachments is a example the file is where it should be , installer cant read it, but i can? i reckon the installer hates me, the disc is fine and everything, just a crap installer.

help thanks in advance..

please note that that data1.cab is located in E:/playonline so it should work but it dont cus the installer is a fag.

Ok never mind i found a solution, Copy all the files of the play onlien disc to your hard drive, all in the same area, now go the play online folder, and run SETUP.EXE it will stop the stupid error, thanks to my self, none of you edited - Metallica , but theres your soulution so sticky this thread so no one has to post this stupid question of error again thanks.

Thank you for sharing your genius with us.
