I have a dell of which i have replaced the mother board and the processor now i got a virus and i had to wipe the hard drive we installed everything again and now i need a product key for xp the casing for the orginal tower is gone .How do i get my product key number.

magic jelly bean probably won't work on a computer that's been formatted. if you can't find the original COA that had the product key on it, then you may be able to call dell and see if they can get you the key, other than that, you're probably SOL. you might be able to call microsoft directly and purchase a new key, otherwise you're just going to have to buy the OS again

New install so no COA yet. Magic won't work because there has been no COA installed yet.

we installed everything again and now i need a product key for xp
