Microsoft Excel take FOREVER to open. And it won't let me open multiple spreadsheets in different windows, it puts the all in one window!

Have you already tried to reinstall Excel?

Can you try to reinstall Excel and Word? Many software problems can be solved by just reinstalling the programs.
