My computer pretty much killed itself in the last week, so I'll probably order the parts this weekend.

It sounded like the disc drive slipped out, simultaneously snapping the video card and the ram stick and the shards got stuck in the fan.

Of course it wasn't that bad, it just makes a really nasty noise when I turn it on.

It could be a simple fan needs replacing, or just cleaned out.

It seems that the HD5770 is out of stock completely, I'll take a look at the local stores because I'm sure they have them all around.
