I done what you said and hooked the fan to the psu it runs constant and is a bit noisey(but i can live with that)I also tidied all cables and placed the fan above the graphics card I ran modern warfare 2 for about half an hour and when I exited I checked temps max temp during play was 71c which is as high as it went. Idle was also 6-8 c lower than before the fan .The fan seems to be working fine and your advice spot on as for connecting to mother board il just have to figure that out , I will give a good run tommorrow and let you know how I get on . Once again thanks for the help :) :)

Ok gave it a run this morning for an hour max temp after an hour was 77 c so I will try it for longer this evening
