I just purchased the Gateway dx4831-01e and hooked it up to my 32" 720p Olevia monitor via the hdmi output. Screen is a little oversized and icons are really big. Resolution is set at 1360x768,setting it at any other setting does not helpm either the screen is flickering or not the right size. When i remove the hdmi and use vga,the picture on the screen fits properly but the image is not as good and the icons are still quite big.
Anyone have any ideas on how to make icons smaller?
Is it the graphics card?
My old emachines worked great with this tv.
I am using windows 7
