I am using windows XP and I have an HP Pavilion computer. I put in a new hard drive that I purchased from HP and decided to use the old hard drive for storage. I put thousands of photos and some important files on it and I was able to access them. Later I took the hard drive out and since I reinserted it I have been unable to access about half of the files. I usually says "Word Cannot Access the Document...user does not have access privileges...F:\***** or just Access Denied. When I try to open a photo the Picasa viewer says"Invalid Image"...but I can see that the image has 3 to 4 megabytes in properties.
Can you give me any guidance in opening my files?

Thanks
