I am in the process of gathering parts for my second PC build.

Mobo specs:

Memory Type:
DDR2

Memory Supported:
667MHz DDR2
800MHz DDR2

Number of Pins:
240-Pin

Number of Slots:
2

What PCXXXX (PC5400, PC6400, etc) can I use? Or does it not matter as long as it is 240 pin DDR2?

ECS G41T-M (V1.0) Motherboard
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6500 Processor
3-4 GB RAM (unsure of variety, waiting for your response)
Apex TX-381 Computer Case w/ 300w PSU
Opitical drives (already have)
HDD (WD, already have)

Don't need anything too fancy as the build is for my parents.

Hi and welcome mate :)

DDR2 800MHz = PC2-6400
DDR2 667MHz = PC2-5300

In my opinion, stretch the budget just a little more and get a reputable PSU.

Regards

Troy
