dled service pack 2 now somethings don't work...

ok i let it dl service pack 2 fro windows xp and now i can't get to my control panel, IE won't open, any folders on the desktop won't open.

if u got any ideas that would be great coz this is getin on my nervs

so how would i go about deleting this service pack?

Ok to remove service pack 2
follow this advice
Delete service pack 2 for XP

i did that and 2 pop ups came up sayin

the system cannot find the file specified

and

the service pack 2 was not uninstalled

what do i do now?

ok this is weird now i can't open Widows Midea Player

do you know the date of when you installed service pack 2?
we can look at doing a restore point from before you put it on.

it was put on today
but when i tryed to look at it it wouldn't work

and now the things that where listed there aren't there anymore and i forgot to put up one before the service pack was instaled

so i think i might go ahead and use the one pain i do have so i can get windows media player workin after that i don't know
