Hi All,
I have a HP-a6332f w/VISTA Home Prem.& NO-aftermarket ANTI Vi/Spy/Mal Ware protection, other than whats built in vista (Dummy, yeah I know). I was not on it when it Broke, Froze, Crashed, Hangedup or the Virus Monster appeared. I was told that the computer suddenly stopped working & a message popped up to the effect (Incert Backup or Restore Disc etc.) when I got to it all there was was a (Light Blue Screen, is it BSOD??) Like Bigfoot I've heard of this, but luckly till now have never seen it, BSOD, is it Dark?, Light?, or maybe alittle Blue/Black?

Now when I try to Bootup/Turn it ON, it starts for 5--10 seconds, then displays the Light Blue screen W/O any meassage, but the Mouse works.
help...

did you try booting into safe mode...you do this by tapping the F8 key about once per second as soon as you press the power button...

Hi HR,
I have tried to go into SafeMode, but per someother instruction when I got in, the screen displayed (safe mode) at all 4-corners, But Nothing else displayed, no- desktop, no words/options/commands etc.
Maybe I didnt wait long enough for it to display?
Was I to type a command?
