Yeah, Google can really help you find much PDF software for PPT. But have you found that you still don’t know how to make work well, because too much information equals none, and that’s why I like to use forum for answer or offering help.
As I have come across the problems like you, so I may give you some advice. I agree that some PDF files are generated from Office file, most frequently word and PPT. If you want to recover or convert it back, an approach way is to use the specific application. As you want to recover your PPT slides for editing, you can use PDF to Powerpoint Converter or Adobe Acrobat. Actually PDF to Word also can help you as you can transfer the contents from word to Powerpoint easily. You can refer Zamzar.com

Open the PDF file that you want to convert to Microsoft PowerPoint.
Click on the "Document" drop-down menu, once on "OCR Text Recognition" and select "Recognize Text Using OCR" option.
Click on the "Edit" drop-down menu and then once on the "Copy File to Clipboard" option.
Open a blank Microsoft PowerPoint document.
Click once on the "Edit" drop-down menu and select the "Paste" option. This will paste a copy of the PDF page into the PowerPoint slide.
To insert a new slide into PowerPoint, click once on the "Insert" drop-down menu and select the "New Slide" option.
