I'm going off island today. Will be traveling for the next 6 days or so. Don't know if I will have Internet access or not.

Ron

That's cool, I have all the time in the world with this computer.

You uninstalled IE and Firefox stopped working too?

Run, Start, cmd, OK then type each line in the code box followed by an Enter:

netsh  winsock  reset  catalog

netsh  int  ip  reset  reset.log

( I use two spaces so you can see where a single space goes. Reboot and see if that helps.)

So what exactly happens with IE now? Does it open and not connect or not open?

1. Please download the Event Viewer Tool by Vino Rosso
http://images.malwar...om/vino/VEW.exe
and save it to your Desktop:
2. Double-click VEW.exe
3. Under 'Select log to query', select:

* System
4. Under 'Select type to list', select:
* Error
* Warning

Then use the 'Number of events' as follows:

1. Click the radio button for 'Number of events'
Type 20 in the 1 to 20 box
Then click the Run button.
Notepad will open with the output log.

Please post the Output log in your next reply then repeat but select Application.

I will do all this next week, say Sunday or Monday. I am taking a long weekend to Austin.

Thanks,
