Hi everyone,

I was wanting to buy a laptop with these stats:
15.6-16" screen
4GB of RAM
500 GB hard drive (7200RPM) preferred
1 GB graphics card preferred
i3 or i5 processor

Bonus stats:
Backlit keyboard
USB 3.0
Extra battery life

I have these laptops in mind:
ASUS N61JV
ASUS K52JR
ASUS UL50
maybe even a Dell Studio 15

Any ideas/suggestions please?

Thanks in advance,
SK

You made two classic newbie mistakes. You failed to state the intended use for this notebook, and you failed to include your budget.

Oh, I will be using this laptop for moderate gaming, regular document work, mostly internet use, DJing, Photoshop.
Budget is preferred under $1,000

Looks like you been asking around. I don't recommend any notebooks for gaming because notebooks are incapable of providing proper cooling. Perhaps Mumbodog or someone else has some suggestions.

The one with the fastest processor, most RAM, and best graphics. The 1st 2 are easy to determine. As for graphics, plug it into Google.

haha I was looking for a more in depth analysis, since I already am familiar that the two laptops are very similar in specs ;D
