Big surprise here. So my dell xps m1530 gpu overheated the other day and now I need to replace my motherboard. I know dell is offering people with my model a free year of warranty for this problem but that's only for systems bought before 2006 and unfortunately mine was not.

What I need to know now is what kind of motherboard I have. Here are my system specs:

Not sure if it is listed on here. If it is not is there a way I can find out? I've tried looking in the manual but doesn't seem to be listed.

Call Dell, give them your Service Tag and they can probably pull that up for you. I'd say most models were fit with the same type of motherboard that are only available through Dell seeing as they are made for Dell Laptops. You have an XPS M1530, so just Google it or eBay it.
