I just finished getting rid of a trojan with the help of Essexboy and everything was great until I tried to download Comodo for a firewall. The download starts out fine but then stops and backs out and then says error1603. I had disabled the windows firewall, deleted ESOT virus protection, and added SpyBlaster before starting to download Comodo.
Thanks again for all the help with the trojan removal.

I've already tried that ...4 times including once more just now for *&*&* and giggles. What happens is just after the install starts installing kernel drives it does a "rolling back", tells you there was an error, asks if you want to try again and when you say no it tells you there was a fatal error 1603 or if you say yes it goes thru the whole process again with the same failure adfanitum . I'm beginning to understand why I sometimes want to pour anti-freeze on this keyboard!

I'd suggest, you post at Comodo forum.
