my 5100C scanjet HP scanner worked with my old computer after I put windows
xp on it.
My printer is an HP deskjet 3650.
My new computer is a sony vaio with a flat screen.

does anyone have this same set up, and HOW do you connect the scanner to
the computer?

On my old setup.. the scanner was connected directly to the printer, but I see
no way to do it with this printer..

Help please? Is someone out there with the same items?
thank you

I believe your printer is USB (correct me if I'm wrong) but what interface is the scanner? Is it also USB or is it parallel or SCSI?
