Hi There,

Since past few days I'm am continuously recieving this windows alert where it says that sppoolsv.exe stopped working and was closed.

I have also noticed that the system's speed has reduced a bit too. Sometimes, the Internet Explorer crashes. I have Norton 360 installed and I have done all the scans and computer seems clean. I wonder what is causing the Windows Alert and reduced/slow system performance.

Looking forward to your help.

Regards,
Muneeb

sppoolsv.exe is not a legit file...

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Hi Broni

I remember your name because I think you helped me many months back regarding removal of spyware. Broni, the thing is that I'm quite sure that there are no spywares so that's why I didn't post the topic in malware section.

Or do you thing Sppooslv.exe is also related to malware?

If there is no reply after 3 days, you can post a reminder in "Waiting room" and you'll get to the top of the list.
