Battlefield 2 crashes

First, I'd like to say I have already read through the other "BF2 crashes" topics and did not see anybody having the same problem as me. If someone has already had this problem fixed for them, please provide a link.

The problem I'm having has to do with my computer crashing to a blue screen as well making sounds like it's a flash bang(Not to much of an exaggeration) whenever I try to join a game. I am a veteran of BF2 and this has only started happening as I have tried to increase the priority of BF2(to above average or high) but it now happens regardless of what I do. HELP!
