to be honest i'm not to sure what to call it i've been googling everything that comes to mind for the last 2 hours and didn't find what i was looking for....

so here we go please don't flame me to much i've been watching "bones" a tv show on hulu alot lately and this young lady on this show controls her massively over powered computer with what looks like a tablet pc ...

now is there away i can use a ipad or something along that lines to connect to my pc and control it using all the processing power of that pc and just using a ipad like a portable touchscreen?

lol it's prolly super simple and easy to do and i'm just overlooking it
