Sorry i had posted a message about my log but i guess my attachment that had my log on it didn't come through. but i have followed all the instructions on cleaning and scanning using other softwares provided from the site. if you could please help me in letting me know what i can and can't deleted... thanks!

I've been experiencing problems w/ the my browser, i'm in a constant race w/ the "page can not be found" and the stop botton. becuase i know those sites are working b/c they'll load but couple seconds later it switches to error page. it's slowly been happening with most of my commonly used site such as at&t homepage, hotmail, and other..

You are running 2 anti virus programs. Please uninstall either Mcafee or AVG, as it is bad to run two because the can conflict with each other and cause problems.

Hi LostHiddenSoul, please do the following.


First,

Please download CleanUp! and run it to remove any leftover remnants of infection. Click the CleanUp button, and let it scan and select any files it needs to remove. Once it is done, exit the program.


Second,

Please follow the instructions provided, you may want to print out these instructions and use them as a reference.


Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.

• Install ewido security suite
• Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
• The program will prompt you to update click the OK button
• The program will now go to the main screen

You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.

• On the left hand side of the main screen click update
• Click on Start

The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed do the following:

• Click on scanner
• Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
  • Binder
  • Crypter
  • Archives
• Click on Start Scan
• Let the program scan the machine

While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report

• Click Save report
• Save the report to your desktop

Reboot your machine and post back a new HJT log and the ewido .txt log file you saved by using Add Reply

How is your computer running now? Are you still having the issues with your browser?

yeah i am still having problems with my browser, the weird part about it, is that it only happens on my windows account which is the primary account but it doesn't affect the other. i was thinking it was spyware that was maybe affecting it or a virus but nothing, i'm also used clean up, adaware, hijackthis, avg (and mcaff be4 i unistalled), ewido, and i have two different pop-up blackers.
