hi there

im wondering if anyone can help me with a problem i have with my pc.

its relatively new (few months or so) but when i try and rip certain cds, it doesnt even detect them in the drive.

the only thing i can think of is that its the cd because the cds that dont work have a sort of dark stripe around the edge. i dont mean its like a black line or anything but its visibly darker.

some examples of cds that have not worked are: biffy clyro - puzzle, killswitch engage - the end of heartache, disturbed - ten thousand fists, slipknot - all hope is gone. (im hoping some of you will have these cds so that you can see what stripe i am going on about

if anyone can help then i would be very grateful :)
