Hello all, hope all good!

Basically, I have created an organization chart in Visio using an Excel spreadhseet. I have linked all the rows of data to my shapes. I know that pressing the "Refresh Data" button refreshes the shapes and reflects any changes in the relevant data graphics used.

My question is this:

If I have manually altered some shape data (by going to the shape --> right click --> Data --> Shape Data --> Define) and then changed a few of the 'string values', would these same values which have been manually changed now be refreshed upon pressing "Refresh Data"?

I hope this makes sense! Many thanks!!

After trial and error, I have concluded - it does not!
