As I said I already did a bench test and spent quite a while doing it but it will not power up.

:) ...nowhere in this topic did you say you had the parts out of the case and laying on cardboard and connected

I took it apart and did a bench test and nothing,

ive checked all my connections and tried a bench test for about half an hour and could not get anything to work.

:) ...sorry I missed it completely...sad thing is I went thru it twice.. :)
you will have to start swapping parts like PSU...CPU...VIDEO card...mobo with known good parts until you find the problem piece...

Must be that patch over your eye, happyrock... :)

I would try first the PSU, second the motherboard.
