I run Windows Vista Home Premium. I've been getting that shrinking disk space problem for about a little over a week now and now my C drive is full and I've deleted around 30gigs off of my 60++gig C drive. It's still full. The system restore/shadow copies thing was addressed early on to no avail. I tried freeing up space with C Cleaner and I did scans with AVG, Spybot, Superantispyware and Malwarebytes. It found some bad files but mostly adware stuff. A while back, I had this problem where all of my passwords to my online accounts were hacked only to find that I had some keylogger thing on my system. I don't download a lot of huge files and at most I only download music from music blogs. I don't surf for porn on this thing and I don't know what other things I have to mention to provide enough information. Please help as soon as you can, thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go! :)

I suggest taking a look at the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide. This will help you disinfect the majority of malicious software from your system. If that doesn't solve your problem, post a new thread in the Virus, Spyware and Trojan Removal Forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to this thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

I'm currently working on the logs for the malware and spyware guide. I did find something out though. I ran free disk analyzer and it showed that this folder in c > users > public > public documents named PC DM with up to 27.1gb of backup folders under my some folder with user account name. I don't see any concentration of drive use apart from this, what does this mean?

You need to make sure that your system is clear of infection before we can help you here. Please make sure you follow the cleaning guide and follow the given instructions to post a thread in the malware removal forums. Unless you do that, we can't help you here yet.

Once you're clear, if you're still having problems, post back here so we can continue to look at your topic.
