Problems started a few months ago, seemed to happen a lot when browsing wepages heavy on flash contain (lots of banners..), the computer would just freeze. I reinstalled mozilla and flash several times but it didn't seem to help.
Later the hdd gave out, I thought there goes the problem, installed an old 40gb drive, still had problems. Bought a new hdd, problems persisted, even on a clean install.
Right now it seems to happen randomly, if left long enough on desktop it will eventually freeze or reboot (freeze is a lot more common).
I've tryed cleaning it (it was pretty dusty..), but I don't think that's it, I had issues with the gpu getting too hot but since I added 2 extra fans everything runs a lot cooler (i was getting high cpu temps before removing the dust, nothing over 60-65º tho).
Power supply was changed along with the MB a few years back, so I think I'm ok on that side...
Checked the ram with memtest for over 8hours, no errors (it did not even freeze -_-)
Changed from avg to avira although nothing pointed to avg being the problem.
The c: drive is actually an external usb hdd, OS is in the H: drive.
I've ran avg and avira for viruses (turned out clean), malware bytes and spybot found some stuff that I deleted (no srrious infections according to the programs).
And last, i've uploaded a screen of the event log, usually before a freeze a lot of things happen and from what I've seen always the same stuff in the same order:
terminal server starts
servicio de Compatibilidad de cambio rápido de usuario starts (compatibility to change users fast)
NLA (Network Location Awareness) starts
Servicio de descubrimientos SSDP starts
Servicio de puerta de enlace de capa de aplicación starts (Gateway to application layer?)
DKRtWrt sends a notice to get started but the freeze occurs before it ever does.
If this last part means anything to anyone please help! I'm out of ideas and this is getting so frustrating ><
Thanks in advance!
