i have just carried out a RAM upgrade to my PC. Now the setup display shows the following information;

Memory Bank 0 1024mB Blue slot

Memory Bank 1 512mB Black slot

Memory Bank 2 1024mB Blue slot

Memory Bank 3 512mB Black slot.

I know the memory banks have to contain matched cards for best performance. But I am not sure how the memory banks are matched. So should memory banks 0 and 2, (Blue slots)1 contain matched cards as I have done,
Should memory banks 0 and 1, ( one black and one blue slot) contain matched cards?

Hi :)Green Halo

Your matched sets are how you have it.
Blue is a set and black is a set.
