My VPN appears to be connected but I am unable to access any of the network's shared folders or systems. I can access other sites like google. Based on another topic I unchecked "use default gateway on remote network" with no success. IT has also asked me to use command to ping the vpn client, with no luck. I have disabled the firewall on my computer, I've hardwire into the router, rebooted my computer a million times and nothing! I am at risk of losing my job if I cannot access VPN. Please help!!!

Update the firmware of your router. And get the port numbers or ip of of your vpn client and open those port numbers on router. Or else put the ip under DMZ.

Sounds like a permissions issue. Contact your IT department first then post back.
